Spelthorne District Scouts is a scout district in the borough of Spelthorne in north Surrey, UK, covering the towns and villages of Ashford, Charlton Village, Laleham, Shepperton, Staines, Stanwell and Sunbury. We currently have 13 scout groups in the district, with in excess of 1000 young people meeting every week
Scouts prepares young people with skills for life – helping them speak up and play their part. Each week we give almost half a million people aged 6-25 the skills they need for school, college, university, the job interview, the important speech, the tricky challenge and the big dreams: the skills they need for life.
We’re talking about teamwork, leadership and resilience & skills that have helped Scouts become everything from teachers and social workers to astronauts, olympians, company executives and international leaders.
